Current Roles

Front End Developer

Specialising in JavaScript, HTML and CSS with a keen interest in UX and CRO, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and learn the industry inside out. You’ll be able to:

  • Configure simple iterative and complex strategic tests within a suite of testing tools such as Qubit, Optimizely and Monetate
  • Carry out thorough QA on tests before they are launched to minimise complications with live tests
  • Assist account managers to prioritise tests from a technical effort and complexity perspective
  • Support clients with analytics configuration when required and ensure that tracking and data is being captured effectively for all tests
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support them with technical advice and build high quality experiences

You’ll have:

  • Advanced use and knowledge of pure JavaScript and JS frameworks such as jQuery to manipulate web pages to invoke visual and functionality changes client side
  • Advanced HTML and CSS
  • Sound knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tags
  • Experience in building responsive web designs and landing pages
  • Experience in cross browser testing and compatibility
  • Around 2-3 years front end experience

UX Researcher

You will work with our team of designers and collaboratively, with other disciplines, to create solutions. You will need to bring empathy and audience understanding in the design process using techniques from across the range of User Experience skills, including user research, testing, information architecture, UX design, and UX strategy. 

You’ll be:

  • Managing our Biometric User Lab – the most advanced User Lab in Manchester – conducting research sessions and reporting on findings for clients
  • Combining an analytical approach with strategic mind-set to present findings in an easy to digest format
  • Creation of UX outputs including user personas, user journeys and user process flows
  • Carrying out detailed and in-depth website heuristic analyses evaluating usability
  • Interpreting data and analysing results using statistical techniques
  • Analysing actual performance against test scenarios to determine future outcome

You’ll have:

  • Active experience of set up and running of qualitative and quantitative user research activities including user testing, depth interviews, tree testing, card sorting, survey-based techniques, etc
  • An understanding of Google Analytics, and heatmapping/customer experience analytics tools e.g. Hotjar, Content Square etc
  • Experience of market research groups and user testing
  • Advanced MS Excel
  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Some knowledge of JavaScript frameworks – JQuery
  • Excellent attention to detail and data driven
  • An interest in marketing, HCI, CRO, user psychology

Conversion Optimisation Strategist

As a first port of call for our clients you’ll have both the technical skills and knowledge of conversion optimisation with the ability to manage clients on a day to day basis. You’ll be:

  • Conducting various forms of research (Qualitative and Quantitative) to identify why websites are not achieving the results they should
  • Moderating and observing lab based user testing with eye tracking and other pioneering technologies
  • Applying psychological principles to experiments to help improve a website’s performance
  • Planning and Implementing A/B tests via testing software

You’ll have:

  • Strong analytical skills to be able to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with excellent attention to detail
  • Basic understanding of pure JavaScript and JS frameworks such as JQuery and HTML and CSS
  • Experience in using testing platforms such as Optimizely, VWO, Qubit, Monetate etc.
  • Sound knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Ability to manage a team to ensure projects run within given deadlines
  • Drive to develop new skills and knowledge and achieve your development goals
